Thursday: oh, the day was great. had a 4 hour break. so went back home to eat then come back for 1 hour marketing lecture. after it finish, haizat told me playing soccer. i was like super stunned. last min tell me. so luckily, worn boxers. so no choice, but to play barefoot and in boxers.

and suffer some injury to the right metatarsal foot. but it was a good game.

Friday: oh, had to recover fast from injury. went to my auntie home which has 7 cats to help out some supply chain stuff. can't remember all her cats name cos too confusing.

basically Saturday was a "romantic" day.

had the IPOD 2009 street soccer competition at SP. organised by the SP Boy's Brigade. I was invited by NYP Boy's Brigade to play for their team. same thing like the NYP Campus Crusade. so me, arun and wei loong were the "foreign talent". alvin and his friend also form part of the team. had 2 reserve which was keith and another unknown guy.

so firstly, we had to play round robin. suppose to have 7 teams, but 1 team decide nt to contest it. so had to reduce to 6 teams.

our first match was against a rough team. they had a "peacock" in their team. this "peacock guy" told arun 'don't fake lah' cos he fouled arun. we won it 3-1.

our 2nd match, had assist arun with the match winning goal. we won 4-3. then went for lunch, they serve me with kway teow and mee hoon together. the non-halal food was chicken rice. so drink some mountain dew.

after lunch, proceed to play our 3rd and 4th game. it was a draw. had to play the 5th game, but our opponent had a long injury list, so bye bye. we had a walkover, which resulted in us winning it 3-0 without even kicking a ball.

for the semi-final, we were leading, but we concede quite late, so draw 2-2. then penalty shootout had to determine the winner. alvin took it first. he scored. then the mclaren guy hit the post. so nxt was arun. and his shot went off the post. then wei loong saved our opponent penalty, and he jumped after that.

so i took my penalty, and i convert the match winning penalty. so a hero. i didn't look behind after i score. just super excited. cos i gt that honour.

gt one guy told us our team play like sissy, he meant we don't play rough.

so at the final, we took on SP1 team. we scored in the first half. each half in the final is 5 minutes. so during the break, they say we were only 5 min away from champion. but it was the longest 5 minutes in my life. but u know what, i assist my team 2nd goal in the final. alvin shot was deflected in.

alvin gf was happy her bf win. so she told us she like being romantic.

at the medal ceremony, i felt like i was dreaming, couldn't believe i won medals.

then went jurong point makan at long john silver. alvin treat us. and we were all very elated to won medals.
